Camco is looking for a smart, passionate and dedicated individual to join the company as an impact / ESG analyst.

Reporting directly to the Head of Impact, the role will involve a wide variety of tasks supporting the impact team in all aspects of their work. This will include, among other things, assisting with the ESG analysis of potential investments and ensuring that their magnitude and significance are well understood by Camco’s internal investment committee; helping the impact team with ESG due diligence, undertaking target research on impact-related issues; and carrying out environmental and social reviews of investments in accordance with IFC performance standards.

 

The successful candidate will have at least an undergraduate degree in environmental management, environmental sciences or other relevant field; a minimum of two years’ experience working in a relevant field; and excellent knowledge of IFC performance standards and other international ESG best practices. They will be fluent in English (French is also desirable), have excellent written and oral communication skills, and be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

 

The role is full time and is based in Nairobi. Deadline for applications is 31 January.
