Camco has been named “Best Renewable Energy Fund Manager – UK” in the 2020 European Enterprise Awards.
EU Business News, which runs the awards, said the company had demonstrated excellence and commitment during a particularly tough year.
Camco was independently nominated for the award towards the end of 2020. A judging panel then used a case file built by the organiser’s dedicated research team along with supporting evidence submitted by the nominee, to make their decision. Winners were only chosen if there was evidence of expertise within their field, dedication to customer service and client satisfaction with an ongoing commitment to excellence and innovation.
Geoff Sinclair, Managing Director at Camco, said: “We are of course delighted to be recognised as the UK’s best renewable energy fund manager.
“2020 was a tough year for everyone, and so to be seen to have excelled under such difficult circumstances is a testament to the wonderful, talented and dedicated team we have here.”
He added: “I would like to say a big thank you to whoever nominated us – we still don’t know who you are!”
Speaking about winners, Awards Coordinator Steve Simpson said they represented “the best of the best from across the entirety of the EU”.
