Resource Hub
Welcome to Camco’s resource centre. Explore the sections below for learning resources and relevant information for stakeholders dedicated to advancing climate impact and sustainable development in emerging markets.
Diversity toolkit

This toolkit has been created to help renewable energy companies to integrate a diversity perspective into the design, implementation, monitoring and assessment of their projects.
The toolkit provides guidance for establishing a gender and diversity baseline and diversity (GBA+) action plan for companies and their projects. It also supports companies’ understanding of how awareness, specificity, participation, intentionality, implementation, accountability and iteration can impact a business’s mission and strategic direction.
Companies can use the toolkit to establish their baseline and action plan by replicating the section headers and thematic fields in a separate document (e.g. Word) and then filling in the fields.
ESMS toolkit

This toolkit is designed to help renewable energy companies mitigate and manage risk, as well as develop projects in line with Camco’s Environmental and Social Safeguarding Policy.

The toolkit has been created to provide the structure and required sections for a comprehensive Environmental and Social Management System (ESMS), in accordance with key international standards, including the IFC Performance Standards on Environmental and Social Sustainability and the GCF Revised Environmental and Social Policy.

Each section begins with a description of the relevant standard, followed by tailored guidance on how to meet that standard. When used in conjunction with the separate ESMS workbook, project developers can produce a full ESMS that aligns with these international standards.
Supply chain toolkit

This toolkit is designed to practically help renewable energy companies mitigate against supply chain risk, as well as contribute towards influencing supplier labour best practices.

This toolkit has been developed to offer clear guidance and practical strategies for effectively integrating supply chain risk in renewable energy procurement.

The toolkit addresses four key core areas in supply chain risk, (1) procurement, (2) traceability, (3) due diligence, and (4) ESG contractual obligations. Templates have been designed to support renewable energy companies to easily adopt these best practices.
