Camco is proud to support Sosai Renewable Energies Company, a woman-led distributed renewable energy (DRE) provider delivering off-grid solar home systems, mini-grids and productive use technologies to underserved communities and small businesses across Northern Nigeria.

Through funding from Camco’s REPP 2 Technical Assistance Facility (TAF), Sosai is strengthening its institutional capacity through legal advisory support, fundraising assistance and the secondment of a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to enhance financial management and investment readiness.

Women-led enterprises in the DRE sector remain significantly underfunded, despite demonstrating strong impact and commercial potential. Through targeted technical assistance, REPP 2 TAF is helping to address this gap — enabling founders such as Sosai’s leadership team to expand access to energy, strengthen operations and deliver long-term community benefits.
